The Science Center would like to invite you to Brain Awareness Week taking place March 10-16 at the Science Center. The week is a worldwide celebration of the brain that brings together scientists, families, schools, and communities. Spring Break camp is back at the Science Center for children grade levels 1-4. Camps are offered in two sessions the first March 18th-20th and the second March 25th-27th. Morning camp will take place from 9:00 am to noon and the afternoon camp will be from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Campers can participate in half day ($20) or full day sessions ($35) in addition the science center offers before and after care services. As a mom of two kids (ages seven and four) I see a great need for children to have classroom lessons reinforced outside of the school setting. Why?
