The Maker
A maker is anyone and everyone who has the desire to craft, tinker, and create. From the noblest scientist to the youngest of inventors, makers are multi-generational, multi-cultural people who are joined together by common passions and a profound love of science.
The Maker Space
The Maker Space creates and cultivates a common place for sharing, informing, and connecting those involved in the Maker Movement. This space is ideal for people who are driven to build and seek out others who share a passion for creativity in science, technology, engineering, and math. This space provides the perfect mix of classes emphasizing invention, prototyping, and learning.
The Science Center Maker Space
The Science Center will soon provide a premier maker space for a wide range of individuals and groups eager to work among fellow enthusiasts. Access to tools, equipment, work space, and storage encourages Science Center makers to collaborate within an inviting, inclusive community. Continuing education is offered through affordable classes, workshops, and social networking. Going forward, annual events including Maker Fairs and workshops will ignite and inspire new ideas.
