Explore Engineering! Good engineers are collaborative, creative, curious and persistent. They want to make a difference in the world and solve problems and improve processes in order to do so.

Join a Future City team to get some experience in the engineering field. Research, write, build, and present your idea of a future city, so that the city of tomorrow happens today.

Use SimCity software to design the city of the future! Future City is a flexible, project based learning experiences that uses computers to build scale models of future cites using research, writing, and public speaking to create a team project. Team members hone problem solving and creative thinking skills. They also apply math and science concepts to real world problems, learn to recognize and appreciate civic issues such as balancing a budget, zoning, and taxes. They work as a team member and learn project management skills while also developing skills in the areas of research, writing, and public speaking.
