As you get ready for tricks or treats or both this week, we have a fun experiment you can try.
Mouth Lightning!
Don’t worry — this doesn’t hurt a bit! Stand in front of a mirror, turn off all the lights, and wait for your eyes to adjust. Pop a wintergreen flavored Life Saver into your mouth and chew with your mouth open. You will see a flash of light as the sugar molecules press against each other and produce friction in the presence of the oil of wintergreen inside the candy.
